We often work with contractors to help them produce a complete end product, as we did at Billing Brook Academy in Northampton.
Billing Brook Academy is an all age special school for pupils aged 4 - 19 with a wide range of learning difficulties. The school had acquired a new site a mile away from the main school to expand and build a new 6th Form Centre for students, and called on Fernbrook Builders to help them with the job.

Fernbrook Builders were first established in 1972 and are based in Rushden, Northamptonshire. They take pride in providing the high quality work and services of a large developer, whilst being a local family-run firm. Part of constructing the new 6th Form building was making sure that the newly-fitted windows were protected during and after building completion. Chris Lander from Fernbrook knew he needed to find a good company who could work with him to complete the job, so he decided to call Stanair.

“We pride ourselves in being a local, family run firm who provides the services of a larger developer, and it was really important to us to work with another company who echoed the same ethos,” said Chris, “Stanair do just that and we’re delighted to have worked with them again.”

Stanair and Fernbrook Builders have worked together previously on prior jobs, supporting each otherÂ’s businesses locally and beyond. In this particular case, Stanair Engineers installed Window Security Shutters. The roller shutters are powered and can be controlled from inside the building, along with providing a high level of protection whilst still being aesthetically pleasing.

The Security Shutters were installed on site by our Engineers quickly and efficiently, leaving Chris with a great end result.

“Stanair have, again, provided a great service and left us with the perfect product for the windows, we look forward to working with them on future projects,” said Chris.
