Laboratory
automation is a multi discipline strategy, to developed and capitalizes on
laboratory technologies that allow new and better processes, Laboratory
automation professionals are government researchers, engineers and scientists,
who develop new technologies to increase productivity. The best known
application of laboratory automation is laboratory robotics, but the scope of
laboratory automation is comprised of many different laboratory devices to
increase the efficiency and effectiveness research in laboratories. Laboratories
devoted to combinatorial chemistry and high throughput screening, automated
clinical and analytical testing and many others, would not exist without
advancements in laboratory automation.
