2021 - Busy Start for M&M Turned Parts Ltd - Subcontract Manufacturer

M&M Turned Parts Ltd News and PR from M&M Turned Parts Ltd - Published 23 April 2021 M&M Turned Parts Ltd have seen a fast start to 2021 with an increased demand for precision turned parts. Many UK based companies have been hit with issues with importing from abroad and have decided to source closer to home.
British manufacturing has witnessed a busy start this year (2021) off the back of Brexit and current problems with sourcing from overseas. As a subcontract CNC machining company, M&M Turned Parts have seen a massive increase in demand from UK companies for machined components.

To deal with the increases demand we have had to invest in another Citizen L32 Sliding Head Lathe. The new machine will arrive in May '21 and give additional capacity to our existing bank of 4 sliding head CNC machines and 10 fixed head CNC machines.

The increased demand for precision components has not been without drawbacks as material prices have risen dramatically and availability has become scarce on some items. Speaking to rolling mills, they are hoping to see a return towards normality at some point later in the year.
