M&M Turned Parts is a manufacturing company specialising in the machining of CNC Turned and Milled parts and components. As an ISO 9001 UKAS NQA accredited manufacturer utilising the very latest in measuring and inspection, M&M offers a complete machining service producing high specification components for a wide range of industrial sectors some of which include HVAC, hydraulic, fasteners, pneumatic, renewable energy, automotive and electrical socket components.

We are able to manufacture components from a broad range of materials including stainless steel, steel, aluminium, brass, engineering plastics, copper, gun metal and special alloys such as monel metal, phosphor bronze, aircraft specific alloys, gun metal and incomel. We also specialise in the manufacture of specialist fasteners from exotic alloys and duplex steels.

Over the past few years M&M Turned Parts has invested over �1.6m on machinery and now has a machining capacity available for all sizes of batches With a program of ongoing investment M&M Turned Parts continues to move forward with a range of state of the art CNC equipment in order to offer its customers a service that combines high quality with competitive pricing.

All our CNC machines run 24 hours a day with tool monitoring and CCTV and all machines are equipped with tool offset.

Sliding Head Turning
Our newest machine is a Miyano BNA-42GTY, ideal for rapidly machining components to close tolerance (as tight as 2 microns) including long lengths such as shafts, bolts and long screws. With this machine there is no deflection or vibration so the finish is excellent. It can deliver high volume at low cost without compromising quality and is ideal for machining injectors and fittings for the gas industry, automotive parts and pump parts where seals need to fit tightly. This is a very flexible machine and we can manufacture diameters from 2 mm to 22.5 mm and lengths from 1 mm to 1 metre

It is a compact machine with quick cycle times. As there is rarely a requirement to change tooling, we can offer extremely fast turnaround and delivery. We can manufacture a family of parts with minimum tooling changes so price is consistent when quantities vary. All of these savings are passed on to the customer so our pricing is extremely competitive.

We are able to balance turn, balance thread and pinch mill components as required.

Stock Management
In addition, we have now implemented a kanban/consignment stock management system for turned parts, machined components and specialist fasteners which has proven to be very successful for the needs of our existing companies.

The main aim of this system is to manage our customers� demands more efficiently with products readily available either on a monthly or weekly basis. This system allows our customers to operate more smoothly by not over stocking yet having product available quickly and on demand.
