Vibrating Screen with Cooling area

Recently AViTEQ designed, manufactured, assembled and tested a bespoke vibrating screen for a customer in the metal processing industry.

The challenge was to screen metal powder, which on entry to the screen would be 200°C.

To provide a suitable solution AViTEQ needed to design a bespoke screen that had a water cooled inlet section.

The screen was designed to handle 2,4 TPH of fine metal powder, the screen had to be totally enclosed so that no dust could escape the screen body.

The screen was manufactured from 304 (V2A) Stainless Steel, utilising 2 unbalanced vibrator motors. To provide linear vibration.

The screen cut size required was 800 μm, so to allow operators to inspect the screen decks, glass transparent inspection holes were incorporated into the screen.
