Sheffield-based manufacturing company Birley has appointed 2 new members of staff as it continues to build on its success in key markets across the UK.
Andrew Whiteley joins the company as Quantity Surveyor following a one year spell at consultancy Turner & Townsend.
Andrew, who is 29 and lives in Gleadless, Sheffield, is a member of RICS and started his career as a quantity surveyor at the age of 18, graduating from Sheffield Hallam University. Following his graduation he spent six years with Sheffield Council. Andrew will be dealing with all commercial aspects of client projects and costings. In his spare time, Andrew plays golf and runs, participating in half marathons in the region.
Birley has also taken on Project Co-ordinator Suzanne Mercer to work on Barclays and other key accounts in the financial sector. Suzanne lives in Norfolk Park with her family and joins Birley from EMS,a local manufacturing company. Her key role will be to ensure projects run smoothly, on time and on budget.
