Zikodrive Motor Controllers are hoping for more success after both Directors were nominated for awards in two different categories. Firstly, Technical Director Graham Fick has been nominated for Motion Control Engineer of the Year at this year's Motion Control Industry Awards. Graham has been nominated for his work on the ZDBL Series of Sensorless Brushless Motor Controllers which he designed and optimised over the course of 2016. The range is now being sold across the world and is being used in a wide range of applications including dosing, process control and more.
Graham was nominated at the 2016 Motion Control Industry Awards before being shortlisted but ultimately losing out on first place so he is hoping to go one better this year.
Secondly, Managing Director Phil Bates has been nominated for the BQ Emerging Entrepreneur Award for his work in helping to grow the company from a small part time UK Engineering company to a company which has been recognised for the quality of its work and which now exports to Europe, North America and the Middle East. Phil is unsurprisingly humbled by the nomination and is staying focused on the company as a whole.
