Winner Pump Centre Young Engineer of the Year Award 2016

WES Limited News and PR from WES Limited - Published 17 May 2016 Scott Proverbs our Assistant Project Engineer has won the Pump Centre’s Young Engineer of the Year Award 2016 – Apprentice category.
John Hughes, WES Operations Director said “We’re delighted that Scott has achieved this recognition, it confirms what we have known all along. Scott has shown drive and a desire to improve himself which has propelled him from Workshop Apprentice to Assistant Project Engineer and I expect that he will continue to more senior positions in the coming years. I’m especially pleased that a young engineer in an SME has been recognised in the industry.”

Scott is participating in a WES tailored career path and is currently undertaking an engineering foundation degree at Portsmouth University with company support.

The Award was judged on the information contained in the application form, a presentation delivered to a management board of the Pump Centre and the answers Scott gave to seven specific questions during the post presentation interview.
