NEW JIB CRANE REPLACES OLD ONE

Linian Crane & Hoist Company News and PR from Linian Crane & Hoist Company - Published 29 September 2021 LINIAN were asked by a company who repair and service pumps to replace an aging and somewhat light weight jib crane SWL 250 kg with one of SWL 2,000 kg.
The holding down bolts were cast into a new concrete foundation block four weeks ahead of installation thus ensuring everything was properly set.

To enable lifting and handling the extra capacity with relative ease and safety the slewing motion is electrically powered and controlled from the hoist pendant.

It was necessary for the jib arm to reach some areas but not foul obstructions in other areas so adjustable electrical limit switches were included to restrict the slewing angle where necessary.

Hoisting and beam travel are dual speed (normal and creep) for accurate load positioning.

The cable festoon power feed system runs in 'c' rail for smooth and tidy operation.

Another happy customer.
