Replacing lifting and materials handling equipment

Advanced Handling Ltd News and PR from Advanced Handling Ltd - Published 08 September 2013 Replacing your manual and materials handling lifting equipment becomes necessary for three main reasons.
We've had the pleasure to work with a client this year on a bespoke scissor lift replacement project. The outcome for them has been reduced downtime and improved performance. Replacing lifting equipment becomes necessary for three main reasons;

1) The equipment no longer serves the purpose of supporting the process and operation.
2) Existing equipment is not operating at the speed and capacity required.
3) Maintenance and repairs are increasing and so is the cost.

Our client contacted us via our website in March requesting to replace three of their existing static scissor lift tables from another supplier. The scissor lifts had been in operation for five to six years and were used as part of a machine they had onsite. Two of the static scissor tables they required replacing were built into the actual machine and therefore needed to be supplied to the exact specification of the existing tables.

The site was visited by one of our team in March this year and within three months the client had their equipment installed and operational.

The clientÂ’s expectation was to install exact replacement specification static scissor lift tables to be an integral part of their machine. The outcome;

“They have proved to be incredibly reliable, so have saved us countless hours in downtime and maintenance costs. The efficiency of the machine has also increased by 14% beyond the rating from the manufacturer and has saved on labour costs.” Ben Chandley, Engineering Technician, Loadhog Ltd.
