Unique Scissor Lift Solution for Food Industry

Today we tested and dispatched possibly one of our smallest static scissor lift tables we have made. This piece of bespoke lifting equipment is a perfect example of a small unit which still packs some power.

Our customer in the food manufacturing industry approached us with a handling solution they required. They talked to our team about two specific requirements to support them when an operator is required to move a container and unload it of canned produce.

The complete handling solution involved a small footprint double static scissor lift table surrounded with a stainless steel rail frame. The scissor table platform size required was 900mm x 400mm with a closed height of 230mm and raised height of 1100mm. The operator can raise or lower the platform height using a remote electric hand control. The stainless steel rail frame was designed and manufactured from the customerÂ’s requirements for their specific container to be manually positioned over the closed height platform.

Once their container is in position, the operator would be able to remotely lift the platform which raises the internal height of the container platform, lifting the goods to be unloaded.

The double static scissor table offers a lifting capacity of 350kg and will now contribute to reducing manual handling during this process.
