PD Devices History
1964 - Established as Power Development (PD)
1976 - (MOV) Metal Oxide Varistor Development commences
2000 - Became part of Bowthorpe PLC (Spirent PLC)
2001 - PD Started producing MOVÂ’s for Bowthorpe EMP / Tyco Electronics
2001 - Became PD Devices Ltd (PDDL)
2001 - Tyco Electronics (TE) acquires Bowthorpe EMP
2005 - PDDL starts manufacturing complete SPD products for TE
2009 - PDDL acquires Bowthorpe EMP from TE
2016 - Entered a partnership with AN Wallis (part of the Albatha Group), Specialists in Lightning protection systems and earthing
