Established by Jon Smith back in 1988, who still owns eight of his eponymous Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) across Florida, Jon Smith Subs has a total of 24 sites in the US.
The 16 additional sites in the US and most pertinently the global franchise opportunities are all managed by one of the worldÂ’s largest Franchise companies, responsible for the likes of PepeÂ’s in the UK.
Attracted by our GroupÂ’s proven pedigree in delivering similar projects and the ability to manage the whole turnkey project internally, no fewer than 5 of our divisions (Airedale Catering Equipment, Airedale Building Services and all three of our Airedale Manufacturing divisions) worked to deliver the UKÂ’s first and flagship Restaurant in Hammersmith, West London.
A day prior to officially opening, project lead Nigel and Marketing Manager Pete had the honour of being the first non-employed people in the UK to taste a Jon Smith Sub, all freshly prepared and served within 4 minutes. Naturally, being produced in a perfectly designed, efficient Airedale kitchen facilitated a delicious fresh twist on one of the UKÂ’s favourite snacks.
