Baty International Ltd is pleased to announce that it has achieved ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Standard. Following rigorous examination of its procedures and performance relating to leadership, risk management, and satisfying customer requirements, this prestigious certification includes the design, manufacture, and service of contact and non-contact dimensional measuring equipment.

Baty Customer Support Officer Chris Moore said: “We are delighted to have been re-certified under the world’s most recognised quality management standard. We place quality at the heart of the business, and strive to achieve consistently high levels of performance and service.”

Baty is now undergoing the process to achieve ISO 9001:2015, the latest update to the quality management system standard, which provides an integrated approach to quality management and continual improvement, helping businesses to monitor and manage quality across all operations, as well as achieving consistent performance and service.

In addition, Baty has also maintained the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC for a Class 1 Device with Measuring Function for the Harpenden Skinfold Caliper.

This precision instrument is the only Caliper CE marked under the Directive, and has been designed for use in the performance of Skinfold thickness measurements. ItÂ’s been used all over the world on projects of international importance and is the most prestigious Caliper available, calibrated using masters traceable to National Standards.
