Window Openers Installed To Automate 2 Vents on a Roof Lantern

Rocburn Ltd News and PR from Rocburn Ltd - Published 18 September 2015 With the rising house prices and the cost of moving home, many of our customers have decided to add space and value to their homes by adding an extension.
A very popular option at the moment is to create a kitchen / family room which is a great option to entertain family and friends.

To create an attractive bright space the popularity of Roof Lanterns is rapidly increasing and more and more customers are buying and installing window automation kits with temperature control systems and rain sensors.

These kits can be installed by an electrician while they are working on the extension to reduce the cost and many customers fit them themselves.

The pictures are of an electric window opener called a Kato KS30/40, it is a slim cost effective actuator that has been adapted to fit to an existing screw jack bracket on the roof vent

These were supplied with an MB08 Temperature control panel and rain sensor kit which provides 4 stages of opening to regulate the temperature and a rain sensor to close if it rains

The cost to supply this parts for this system was only £339 +VAT, but adds considerably more value to the property.
