Designed specifically as a way-marker and to provide low level illumination, the Manchester SP Bollard is suitable for a whole range of uses including pedestrian pathways, cycle pathways, car parks, railway crossings, entrances and more, improving visibility and increasing safety.
The Manchester SP Bollard requires no electrical installation or wiring. This results in low installation costs and a lower carbon footprint than mains powered alternatives. The solar powered light charges during the day and stays illuminated all night, giving visibility up to 900 meters. The state-of-the-art solar light has been fully tested and approved by The Department for Transport and is guaranteed for 10 years. It is unaffected by water (IP68 compliant) and is available in a choice of white, red, green, blue or amber lights.
The traditionally styled bollard combines the strength of an internal steel core with an outer coating of engineering-grade polymer manufactured from a renewable chemical source. High performance, two-part, aviation grade polyurethane paint, with the best quality UV filters, ensures the bollard is hard wearing, environmentally friendly and virtually maintenance free. It is available as root-fixed, bolt-down or removable, with an option of reflective banding, decorative highlighting and bespoke logos.
