BOAL has expressed support for Budget 2014 which gives support to high energy users and offers incentives for capital investment.

The Chancellor said “The Budget last week was a Budget for makers, doers and savers. We need our businesses to export more, build more, invest more and manufacture more. That is why I delivered a budget aimed squarely at supporting businesses just like BOAL to continue their excellent work which is helping Britain compete in the global race”

Simon Bradley Group Managing Director Extrusion: “We are pleased that the government is actively supporting UK manufacturing and see the latest Budget as a significant step forward. As a high energy user, we were particularly pleased to see the steps towards providing a level playing field with our foreign competitors regarding energy costs. We also welcome the capital investment incentives as we look to further develop our business and invest in our future growth.”
