Hand Dryers

Hand Dryers or a hand dryer is an electrical device/unit which is found in public washrooms/toilets and is used to dry the hands. Hand dryers are often operated by a push button, but more recently automatic units can be seen which use an infrared sensor, and these units are understandably more hygienic. Hand dryers are very popular in industries as they are more economical when compared to paper towels, and require very little maintenance. Hand dryers are claimed to be better for the environment as hand towels require replacing and removal. Hand dryers are also claimed to be more hygienic, as the blowing of hot air can affect the viability of micro-organisms on the skin, whereas paper towels may not reach such areas of the skin even though the skin appears dryer.
