Through the combination of a responsive UK manufacturing facility and a
strategic 'offshore' partner, meticulously controlled through an ISO
90001:2000 certified quality system, Connect-2 Technology provides customers
with maximum flexibility between fast UK response and the 'cost-down' benefits
available from Far East production. The UK factory provides Wiring Looms and
harnesses, Custom Cable assemblies, Heavy Duty Power Cables, Electronic Sub
Assemblies, Electronic Panel Wiring, Cable Installation Services, prototype and
low/medium production volumes, whilst Far East manufacturing provides
medium/high volumes which can be held against material supply agreements.

Cut
and Prepared Wires
Semi and fully automated cut, strip and tinning of both single wires and
multi-core cables.
Cabling Looms, Wiring Looms
& Harnesses
With a wide ranging skill set and a high
level of production discipline the company has the ability to produce virtually
any Wiring Looms & Harnesses from simple panel harnesses to large and complex
switchgear looms. Since 1995 the company’s wiring looms and harnesses have been
incorporated into many large and small-scale OEM applications.
Ribbon
Assemblies
All types manufactured, including standard and half-pitch.
Practically any ribbon cable type can be supplied, including shielded and
un-shielded, to exact customer requirements from either the UK factory or the
company’s Far East partner.
Coiled Cables
Connect-2 Technology offers a large variety of coiled
cable assemblies produced to precise customer dimensions for both electronic and
electrical applications. Typically between 8 to 10 weeks should be allowed for
the initial supply, subsequent orders can be supplied against a material or
schedule agreement to ensure on-time receipt.
Custom Cable Assemblies
A wide scope of solutions are available within Connect-2
Technology to address demanding data and low-power inter-connection
requirements, from micro-pitch to large multi-pole assemblies. The company’s
technical and production competence linked with a wide range of tooling, from
all popular connector manufacturers, enables almost any type of multi-pole cable
assembly to be supplied in any mix of solder or crimp technologies including;
standard ‘D’, ‘HiD’, standard and miniature circular, IP rated, industrial
rectangular, modular power connectors, etc.
Electronic Sub-assemblies (Panel & Box Build)
With access to a large array of panel components
(indicators, DIN rail assemblies, test points, switches etc), encapsulation and
potting, plastic parts and housings, covers, PCB and interconnection assemblies
together with convenient approved sources for metal work (formed and drilled)
including various coating options, customers are provided with a considerable
resource for the fulfilment of small panel and box build sub-assemblies for
