Viridian
Solar is the manufacturer of Clearline roof integrated solar panels, and a
specialist supplier of solar water heating systems to commercial developers and
housing associations.
The
Clearline has been developed in partnership with experienced professionals from
major construction organisations, and offers the following benefits to the
developer:
Slim-line panel replaces tiles and looks like an integrated element of the
building.
Other systems fit over the tiles, elevated on brackets and rails, often
standing more than 150mm proud of the roofline. Clearline panels are only 82mm
thick, and because tiles are removed to install the panel, will be flush with
the roofline for many types of profiled tiles. This “in-roof” or “roof
integrated” fitment also has knock on benefits for the installation process.

Flashing kits for integration into both tiled and slated roofs are available.
Slots
seamlessly into the build programme with no specialist contractors on site.
Clear responsibility – a single contractor is responsible for the roof,
another for all plumbing. Only trades that are experienced working at height
need to go on the roof.

Tested to the highest levels for confidence and peace of mind.
Like all high quality solar panels, Clearline has been successfully tested
against the European Standard for solar panels EN 12975. Viridian Solar has gone
further to reassure developers and householders about the durability of the
Clearline solar panel, and its interfaces with the building. Clearline is the
first solar panel to achieve certification from the British Board of Agrement
and approval from NHBC.
Solar panel mounting frames are available for projects with a flat roof.

Sizing
Three sizes of solar panel (1.5, 2.0 and 3.0 square meters) can be combined
to build up the desired area of active solar collector, while better fitting in
with the aesthetic of the property. Panels can be installed side by side, or
separated on the roof to achieve the best looks.
Consultation to help the developer to size the systems and demonstrate
compliance with renewable energy planning requirements, while simultaneously
optimising the value for money is free of charge.

High quality stainless steel hot water cylinders optimised for solar water
heating are available in sizes ranging from 150 litres to 300 litres.
Viridian Solar has experience of projects encompassing developments of single
houses, multi floor flatted developments and communal heating systems.
