What Are Automatic Rising Bollards? |

Automatic Rising
Bollards are a significant security measure where controlled access
is required, the automatic rising bollards are bollards under the
road surface (laying flush) that automatically rise up on a vehicles
approach. There are a number of different way in which these
automatic rising bollards can be controlled; Intercom
Communications, Keypads, RFID Swipe Cards and many more. These
bollards are heavy duty and constructed from 220mm Steel Tubes,
these are effectively an alternative to the Road Blocker but more
aesthetically pleasing for architecturally sensitive areas.

What Are
Roadblockers |
|
Roadblockers are steel barriers designed to guard against the
highest level of vehicular threat. They can be raised and lowered to
allow vehicles to pass over them. The default position would be
raised, to prevent vehicles from passing through. The Roadblocker is
a truly formidable defence. It is imposing and clearly shows any
vehicle driver that you are serious about security. Our 800
Roadblocker stands approximately 880mm tall. Roadblockers are a
significant presence, more so than swing barriers and bollards.
Because of their size, they offer protection against larger
vehicles. There are a number of different models, designed for
different levels of threat. The PAS68 rated Roadblocker meets the
British standard in stopping a truck from passing through (7.5
tonnes @ 80kph).

Automatic / Manual Security Barriers |
|
Manual Arm Barriers are manufactured from heavy duty steel and
aluminium. Available in lengths of 3-8 metres with an aluminium
beam. A heavy duty steel swinging option is also available in beam
lengths of 3-9 metres. The barriers come supplied with a quality
padlock, and are available with the option of bottom skirts for
added security. Raising barriers are counterbalanced for easy
operation. Both barriers have the option of installation into
concrete, or bolt down to a concrete base.

Automatic Arm Barriers |
|
Automatic Arm Barriers block the path of oncoming vehicles and can
be raised to allow the vehicle to pass through. They are a highly
visible and common security device. The Automatic Arm Barrier is a
cost effective solution to controlling parking. Designed to be used
in conjunction with a variety of entry systems, e.g. Time clock,
proximity card, token etc, the heavy duty automated arm barrier is
suitable for high traffic volumes. Alternative colours available on
request, optional skirt is available for added security. Heavy duty
version available in beam lengths of up to 8 metres and standard
duty version available up to 6 metres.
