Wallace is Accredited DVSA provide for the new 3a Reversing Test.
News and PR from WALLACE HGV LGV Forklift DRIVER CPC Transport Training - Published 07 December 2021
To address the HGV Driver Shortages, DVSA have introduced a few changes to the way they conduct the driving test. From Monday 29th November 2021 the driving test has been split into two parts. Wallace is proud to have been appointed by DVSA as an Accredited Training School and we are authorised to deliver 3a Reversing Tests. All our courses include a 3a test which is planned to take place during the LGV intensive driving course, so drivers can complete and pass their 3a Reversing Test before the DVSA Driving Examiner conducts their LGV 3b Driving Test.

It's official Driver can now go from Car to Articulated Vehicle Licence straight away.
On the 15th November the law was changed and now it is no longer necessary to get a HGV licence in stages. Gone - is the requirement to go from a B licence to pass on LGV C (old HGV 2) before going for trailer training. Now drivers can go straight into LGV CE (old HGV Class 1) from their car licence.

In April 2014 the law changed. Drivers with a Manual Car Licence can now pass LGV driving test using an Automatic Lorry to get a Manual LGV/HGV licence.
