ND Precision Products News and PR from ND Precision Products - Published 24 February 2021 One of NDPP’s most meaningful projects from 2020 was a tool with 384 cavities over moulded into a frame to produce a PCR plate for use in Lab testing for the Coronavirus.
Well, we think it is fair to say that 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, particularly those operating within the medical sector.
One of NDPP’s most meaningful projects from 2020 was a tool with 384 cavities over moulded into a frame to produce a PCR plate for use in Lab testing for the Coronavirus. There were many challenges along the way when manufacturing this tool, however, these were overcome using Mouldflow analysis and a 6-feed hot runner system feeding 384 balanced gates from a cold feed plate. ND Precision ProductsÂ’ experience within the medical industry has predominantly been manufacturing various sized tools for medical devices.
