RDS Ltd News and PR from RDS Ltd - Published 28 September 2020 RDS is able to offer a wide range of Super Fine TFT (SFT) Tianma Displays.
Sizes available are 11.6”, 13.3”, 15.6” and 18.5” with features such as LVDS or eDP (Display Port) interfaces, backlight luminance from 400cd/m2 up to 1500cd/m2. Excellent daylight/outdoor viewing is assured with anti-glare surface coating.

The wide temperature range of -30oC to +85oC guarantees stable performance even under harsh conditions. TianmaÂ’s proprietary wide-angle technology and Super Fine TFT (SFT) provides ultra-wide viewing angles of 88oC in all directions without any significant change in brightness or colour. These wide viewing angles also allow flexibility in design as a display can be mounted in either portrait or landscape orientation.

These displays also benefit from long-term availability, giving confidence in supply in uncertain times.

Touch functionality, either resistive or PCAP, is also available. Additionally, designs can include custom sensors and cover glass solutions, with printing options such as logos, optical bonding to enhanced daylight viewability and impact resistance. Plus, where applications require there are solutions to fit EMI shielding, Anti-Reflective, Anti-Glare and Anti-Fingerprint surface treatments.

RDS also has In-house design and manufacturing, building bespoke displays and custom solutions. The latest solidworks modelling and design tools are utilised in an ISO 9001 approved environment ensuring full control and traceability during both design and manufacture.
