New range of laminating machines introduced

With GCT's high profile in the plastics and foam industries, supplying die cutting presses and water jet cutting machines, a niche has been uncovered for laminating machines which are widely required as part of the production process. Systems can now be supplied for laminating various materials, substrates and self adhesive layers in roll or sheet form. Machines can be simple where two or three layers need to be compressed together with, perhaps, heat activation of the self adhesive layer or complex with release paper peel off, secondary release paper added, slitting and cross cutting, sheet stacking, roll handling - in fact, a fully integrated system with minimal opertator involvement. Numerous machines have already been installed in the foam and insulation sectors in diverse formats with more systems in build for installation in the near future. Due to the high level of interest, GCT will shortly be running open days to show laminating equipment plus associated processes such as log sliiting and kiss cutting machines.
