TOOTH PITCH VIDEO GUIDE

News and PR from - Published 30 January 2020 When you’re cutting material, it’s very important to have at least two teeth buried in the material and a maximum of 18.
Too few teeth will cause the teeth to be knocked off as there is too much load; too many teeth will cause them to get to get blocked up with swarf and theyÂ’ll strip off.

Another factor to consider when deciding on your tooth pitch is the head weight of your bandsaw machine. If the machine has a heavy bow weight youÂ’ve got to make sure the machine doesnÂ’t come down too quickly because if it does, the teeth will get blocked up with material and get knocked off. The coolants and the blade speed are very important considerations as well.
