Special EFX was a natural choice for the organisers of the inaugural Conservatory and Orangery Awards to commission for its trophies. The companyÂ’s exclusive, golden creation matched the aspirational world of designer orangeries and conservatories and delighted the organisers.

The new trophy is both striking and elegant. The process involved first water-jet cutting the pierced logo from solid aluminium, then meticulously hand-polishing it to a smooth finish, before applying the gold finish. The stepped cast acrylic plinth is distinctive in shape, which provides an additional touch of exclusivity to the finished trophies. Meanwhile, the event text was silk screened on both front and back elevations – providing additional attributes to please the eye.

The organisers commented: “We wanted a trophy that was unique and in line with the brand. We have our own in-house studio which design our magazines and come up with our event branding. Working with the Special EFX team and our own studio they managed to interpret our requirements perfectly.”
