New products, new services and new ways to order at Drive Lines!

Five months into the year and Drive Lines has already launched new literature with the Lift Systems Solutions flyer. The flyer is designed to show our 360 degree capabilities in the world of power tranmissions, offering screw jacks, gearheads, linear guideance, motors, couplings and more.

To add to the varied products Drive Lines offers they also now have a design service. The team have come to realize that some of our customers may require further assistance when it comes to designing systems, when there is not the in-house expertise available.

Therefore Drive Lines are pleased to announce that they have teamed up with John Bennett of Bennett Design Solutions Ltd to offer just such expertise. John has many years of experience in engineering design and development, and can work on projects either in partnership with us or directly contracted to our customer.

All that is required is a description and sketch of the project from which John can then generate an initial concept at minimal cost which can be discussed and amended before detailed drawings are produced. Of course, these can be supplied in various 2D/3D formats.

Now, with our principal component suppliers, controls and design partners, Drive Lines can truly offer the complete solution!

New products for Drive Lines include the LP2 precision disc coupling from partners R+W. The LP2 consists of two precisely machined hubs with keyway connection, a spacer, and two flexible disc packs, allowing for a high level of misalignment compensation. The transmission of torque accross the friction fit of the disc packs allows for a high degree of precision with zero backlash and minimal torsional windup. Larger distances between shaft ends are easily accomodated by custom length spacers, and relatively high speeds can be achieved across those lengths. The all steel construction lends itself well to fatigue resistance and an infinte service life. The LP2 is available in 6 sizes with torque ratings ranging from 350 to 10,000Nm. Together with the model LP1, LP3, and LPA, a very wide variety of industrial application requirements can be met, including all options and requirements for couplings in API 610 pump systems.
