Our laboratory, located in Market Drayton, Shropshire, is fully equipped to conduct UKAS accredited Ingress Protection (IP) Testing.

Our scope covers the degrees of protection against:-

- Access to hazardous parts and against solid foreign objects indicated by the first characteristic numeral (IP1X - IP6X).

- Ingress of water indicated by the second characteristic of the numeral (IPX1 - IX8)

- Access to hazardous parts, indicated by the additional letter (A, B, C and D)

These tests are conducted in accordance with IEC 60529 and include and testing requirements stated in the product specific standard (i.e. IEC 60598, IEC 60335, IEC 60601, etc.)
