In support of 'Red Nose Day' on Friday, March the 15th, Plastor (www.plastor.co.uk) will be donating 10p to Comic Relief for each plastic storage box / item sold on the day. Plastor is calling it the "Red Box Day".
The donation will help raise funds to improve and save the lives of vulnerable and sick children and families in the UK and Africa. For more information see the official Comic Relief website here.
Raising money for Comic Relief usually involves comedy, but with regret Plastor won't be gunging the boss or placing the warehouse manager in a bathful (or boxful) of beans. However, if you do have any suggestions let Plastor know and they'll post the photo/s on their Twitter page for the best suggestion.
Why call it 'Red Box Day'?
Originally Plastor was going to donate money on all red boxes sold. However, Plastor didn't want to restrict any donations and are therefore donating money on all sold items on the 15th of March, 2013. The team still liked the term Red Box Day, so it's here to stay.
