Various surveys and intense research done by the British Promotional Merchandise Association (BPMA) has revealed that there is a direct correlation between the advertisement of these branded promotional gifts and the increase in sales with improvement in brand recognition.
A study was conducted in 2012 by the BPMA, where 15,000 people were surveyed who had received a promotional gift in the past:
- 66% people claimed that after getting a promotional product, they could recall the brand for the past 12 months.
- According to the study, the promotional products delivered a better return on investment than outdoor or radio advertisement.
- 79% were reported to be likely to do business with the company again.
- 87% of people kept the promotional product for more than a year.
- 57% of people reported improvement in the impression of the company after getting a branded promotional product.
