New courses, new premises for UK's leading IPC training centre

We have been established for over 25 years and in that time have trained thousands of delegates, not just from the UK, but also from around the world.

As Europe's leading training centre, ART Ltd are excited to announce they are now able to offer the IPC course for PCB design-Certified Interconnect Designer CID.

This professional development program provides objective evaluation of core competencies in PCB design, based upon industry standards rather than specifications of just one company.

Courses enhance and assess technical knowledge: how to transform an electrical circuit description into a PCB design that can be manufactured, assembled and tested.

CID is a valuable professional credential recognized throughout the electronics industry.

Due to ART Ltd now being the only UK training centre who can offer ALL of the IPC training programs including both of the IPC Space Addendum programs, IPC-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, J-STD Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies as well as IPC-A-610 Acceptance of Electronic Assemblies, IPC-A-600 Acceptance of Printed Boards, IPC 7711/21 Rework, Modification and Repair of printed Boards and IPC 6012 Qualification and Performance Requirements for the Fabrication of Rigid Printed Boards we have felt the need to expand to larger premises during the early part of 2017.

Moving from our current 2,500 square foot building we are expanding to a new location set over two floors covering an estimated 8,000 square foot. This will allow us to offer a full range of training courses and consultancy services to support and assist new and current customers in improving their competitive excellence and financial success.

ART Ltd specialise in running training courses to IPC standards and are an IPC Authorised Training Centre, enabling us to offer training at both Trainer level and at Application Specialist level. ART Ltd are able to present courses at our fully equipped training centre or, on customerÂ’s premises where, if necessary we can supply all equipment to conduct the training.

As well as IPC training, we can offer specialised, bespoke, training in all aspects of PCB design, repair and rework, including BGA rework, high voltage and high temperature soldering procedures and, of course lead free soldering.

Our trainers also participate in IPC committees and have been presented with a large number of awards from the IPC in recognition of our contribution to IPC standards and the electronics industry. Debbie Wade, our Managing Director, is the chair of the 620 training committee, European training committee and IPC Product Assurance committee vice chair. This gives us a unique position in the Industry in that we help to write the standards as well as the training programmes, therefore being able to present the most up to date and relevant training to delegates.
