Nortech holds successful Open Day

Nortech Control Systems Ltd News and PR from Nortech Control Systems Ltd - Published 14 January 2013 To celebrate 25 years at the cutting edge, and its move to stylish new premises, Nortech recently held a successful Open Day for its customers.
It’s been a busy year for all involved at Nortech Control Systems. The early part of the summer saw the access control and parking manufacturer move to stylish, larger premises at Nortech House. And, to celebrate the move, as well as their 25th year of providing ‘smarter access’ solutions, the company held an Open Day for its customers in October.
Nortech hosted guests from all over the country and the aim of the day was to thank them for their loyal support, demonstrate the huge Nortech product range in a friendly environment and to gain market feedback to improve its products and services. The invitation also included guests being whisked away to the legendary Celtic Manor Resort for the inaugural Nortech Adventure Golf Invitational.
The Open Day was NortechÂ’s first and their prestigious new premises were really put to the test. The security installers, salesmen and suppliers present got to see NortechÂ’s products in action, ranging from their new access control reader range to the first working uPASS Access long range reader in the country. NortechÂ’s Parking Management System, FeeMaster, had a room to itself for demo purposes, whilst the new training room was put through its paces as installers played with wireless locking technology, biometrics and even tested new NorPass software features prior to official release.
Nortech General Manager Rod Munn commented:
“The day was a huge success for various reasons. We had the chance to educate our customers on the complete range of access solutions that we can provide and we were able to inform them of all our capabilities. Many customers were happy with the products they have used previously, but when informed of updates where our marketing efforts haven’t quite reached them, they were pleasantly surprised with how far we’ve come.
It was also a great chance to hear how our customers work and to try and improve our collaborative relationships with them. ”
As well as spending quality time with the entire Nortech team and being encouraged to be as honest as possible, a formal presentation also took place. The subject matter was NortechÂ’s achievements over the last 25 years and what they hope to achieve in the near future. Nortech has ambitious plans to capitalise on its success of having developed an access control system that is arguably the easiest to install and configure on the market. Installers were told that they can have a large part to play with the on-going development and that their comments are always welcome and can prove invaluable in refining Nortech products.
Following the event, guests were very complimentary about the Open Day, with Phil Grunewald of AVA commenting that ‘it was very informative… and as always a nice buffet’ and Paul Brache of CWA mentioned that he ‘learnt a lot about Nortech products, thanks for a great day’.
Due to the success of the day Nortech is already planning similar events and hopes that any interested parties get in touch to find out more.
