South West Communication Group has installed a new robust telephone system for Devon Internet access solutions providers WiFi SPARK to accommodate the needs of its office-based staff and home workers.
WiFi SPARK in Newton Abbot, Devon, needed a new telephone system to replace its existing one which had proved unreliable and difficult to administer.
South West Communications Group already provided WiFi SPARK with its lines and calls billing service and broadband connectivity, and was therefore familiar with the company and well-placed to offer advice on a telephone system that would exactly meet its needs.
The result was the installation of a ShoreTel Small Business Edition solution that provided Internet protocol (IP) telephony and unified communications for all of WiFi SPARKs staff, including its team of remote workers.
Furthermore, training was delivered to WiFi SPARKs staff at South West Communications Groups headquarters in Exeter and ongoing support is provided though a business class service level agreement.
Harry Langley, managing director of South West Communications Group, said: The ShoreTel solution installed by us provided WiFi SPARK with exactly what it needed; a solution that was robust and reliable. WiFi SPARK now also has the ability to configure its telephone system in line with any staff changes and future growth. This is a simple process that can be carried out with ease requiring no intervention from third party engineers.
Matt ODonovan, managing director at WiFi SPARK, said: You dont realise how critical your phone system is until it goes wrong, so we wanted reliability and a solution with a proven track record. We also needed confidence in our supplier as well as the equipment. We knew ShoreTel was good and that South West Communications Group was very good, so put them together and we got what we wanted.
