This yearÂ’s event was the second highest attended with nearly 56,000 delegates (including over 400 graduate prospect employees) from 104 countries visiting its 336 exhibiting companies.
One of a number of industry specialists sharing a joint stand with the East of England Energy Group (EEEGR), Cargostore received good levels of enquiry from existing and new clients for its Offshore DNV2.7-1 equipment.
Strong interest was shown particularly in non-standard items such as the companyÂ’s DNV-rated Tool Box (a clever piece of design technology enabling its steel lid be lifted with one hand); waste skips; and its ever-popular 10 and 20ft reefers, all fitted with high-impact resistance bars.
Cargostore International marketing manager Tracy Underwood, commented: “One of the challenges the industry faces is inspiring future generations to come on board and share in the industry’s knowledge and expertise so it was particularly heartening to see so many graduates attending workshops and talking to the industry specialists that exhibited on their stands.
“While it was evident that the market remains particularly at the present time, there was a very clear message from exhibitors that the oil and gas industry has a future for years to come.”
