The work is to provide bespoke handrailing and flooring as part of a of new-build and renovation works at major UK power stations and at a nuclear fuels processing facility.

BSGÂ’s reputation for providing high quality handrailing and safety flooring in potentially high risk, heavy traffic sites proved a major focus behind these latest successes.

The companyÂ’s handrailing system supplied for these major projects comprises modular ball type handrail standards manufactured from high-grade materials, and galvanised to ensure the long-term durability while reducing the risk of wear. Delivered complete with handrailing including all the necessary bends, joints, fittings and marked out for clear construction, the BSG handrailing system is cost effective and reduces the overall time required for installation.

Meanwhile, BSGÂ’s plated gratings have been provided for use inside the biomass facility at Ironbridge Power Station. Incorporating a high strength-to-weight ration, this flooring is manufactured at BSGÂ’s modern new facility in the West Midlands.
