New product development: Highly efficient gear motors

With the current emphasis on low noise gearmotors, we have addressed the need by incorporating a number of improvements to the gearbox and motor and have designed an extremely quiet shaded pole gear motor, which means that the FB T3 features very low noise levels.

The technical innovations have helped us to achieve noise readings of just 39dBA, these were taken at a distance of 50cm from the motor, where the ambient noise level was 35 dBA.

These readings were achieved with the shaded pole motor in stack sizes of 19mm, 25mm, 32mm and 38mm.


FBT3 options now include:

• Ball race bearings on the motor

• Highly efficient laminations

• Precision cut gears

• Speeds from 0.8-50rpm

• Torque to 35Nm


KBT14

The KBT14 is currently undergoing the same transformation as now seen on the FBT3 and will soon be available with the same ball race bearings, highly efficient laminations and precision cut gears with additional benefits of:

• Slimline gearbox

• Interchangeable shafts

• Torque to 20Nm
