Ferguson Group Ltd News and PR from Ferguson Group Ltd - Published 23 December 2014 Ferguson Group Singapore, specialists in the provision of offshore DNV 2.7-1/containers, refrigeration, accommodation and engineering workspaces solution, showcases its range of offshore containers
From its base in Singapore, Ferguson Group Singapore has rapidly expanded to meet the demand for their rental fleet for offshore transportation and storage in this high performing region.

In the last year alone, Ferguson Singapore have established its first partner in Vietnam, New World Logistics, with bases in Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh and have recently opened a new Ferguson Group office in Kuala Lumpur. These new facilities have enabled the company to increase its fleet of DNV 2.7-1 / EN 12079 offshore containers, tanks and baskets they can offer to the oil and gas industry.

Simon de Koning, Country Manager at Ferguson Group Singapore attributes the companyÂ’s success to the high quality and availability of their offshore DNV 2.7-1 container fleet, its accommodation and engineering workspace modules.
“Our customers often need our cargo carrying units at short notice. Having a network of partners and bases in South East Asia, means that we can provide a quick response to any request, with the containers in place as quickly as possible. All our CCUs are designed, built and maintained to the DNV 2.7-1 / EN12079 standards which means that our customers can be sure that our containers operate reliably no matter how challenging the environment. We understand that our customers don’t have time to spend on replacing or repairing containers, so we ensure that our products are always up to the job.”

The Ferguson GroupÂ’s offshore container fleet is designed specifically for the grueling oil and gas market. For example its half height containers, used for transporting tools and downhole equipment to the wellhead, are designed with swinging and removable doors on many units to allow for easier loading and unloading, fitted with multiple tie-down points for safe and secure transportation of cargo, anti-slip paint, and drainage points as standard.

In addition to the wide range of containers, baskets and mud skips the Fleet also includes Helifuel tanks, chemical and acid tanks, ISO tanks and the new cryogenic tanks. Each tank has designed into it safety features such as remote vent valves and collapsible ladders for operator safety. The tanks themselves can be filled from either end, to meet customer requirements and many of them can operate at very low temperatures because of recirculation lines that ensures fluid doesnÂ’t freeze.
All our CCUs are designed, built and maintained to the DNV 2.7-1 / EN12079
