Optical Flats

Optical flats are a relatively new addition to our product range and are manufactured in our facility on the south coast of England. Each flat is figured by our skilled opticians and fully certificated with a serial number on the edge. We can achieve flatness specifications of up to Lambda/20 for single or double sided flats, and have a range of common sizes available from stock. We are also more than happy to generate custom size flats or rework existing parts. All flats are tested in our QA department and certification traceable to UK National Physical Laboratory standards is provided for all flats.

Complimenting this initiative, we also have a new 12” vertical interferometer which allows larger apertures to be accurately measured.
