It's time IT returned to enabling business

As long as the risks are known and the right technology is configured correctly IT should be saying YES. Technology is the one place that you should be investing in to be able to scale up your business, streamline your processes and cut your costs which will allow you to pass on those reductions to your clients making your business much more competitive in your market. IT is and always will be an investment but the return on that investment can be orders of magnitude more than you put in.
