Wherever the machining accuracy of robotic arms and gantry systems does not suffice, the FormCutter is employed as an additional axis system.For welding applications too, the X/Y axis system controls the dynamic and precise motion of the machining head above the component. The so-called FormWelder produces spatially limited 2D weld seams quickly and accurately. A process monitoring function is also able to check the quality of the weld online, enabling safety-relevant components such as ISOFIX clamps and closures for doors or engine hoods to be solidly welded.
