GDL Design Team Now Offer Thermal and CFD Modelling

The design team at GDL are now fully trained to use the latest EDSL, TAS and FLAIR air flow modelling software in house for our clients.

The purpose of the air flow modelling software is to simulate overheating and ventilation within all building types for the construction industry. Our designers and engineers can use 3D modelling techniques to demonstrate solar heat gains using EDSL TAS. Our FLAIR software allows our designers to simulate air-flows as well as fire and smoke spreading within buildings.

Thermal modelling has become an integral part of designing systems to ensure that buildings do not over heat or over cool. Our design team can now work with our clients to visualise and check on environmental elements and ventilation requirements before embarking on a costly construction process.
