Oddie® Fasteners are manufacturers of the world renowned 1/4 turn Oddie® panel Fastener. We produced the Oddie® panel Fastener in the 1930s and it has been in use worldwide ever since! Even in the modern world it still provides one of the quickest and strongest solutions for panel fastening.

Designed and manufactured in the UK it was originally created for aircraft maintenance requirements to solve the brief of securely and simply fastening an engine body panel whilst allowing easy and quick access.

Today Oddie® Fasteners offer a wide range of head styles to suit various applications i.e torx, wing, 'snake eye' security, pan head and more. The 1/4 turn Oddie® Fasteners are available in any material and size to provide speed of application and optimum level of security for all your quarter turn applications.

Range of Oddie® Quarter Turn Fasteners

We offer a comprehensive range of Oddie® Quarter Turn Fasteners which includes 3 standard sizes, 4 head styles, 5 clip designs and 3 finishes, catering in grip lengths from 65mm to 2mm.

1000, 600 and 400 Series
We supply a range of Oddie® Fasteners with a 4mm, 6mm or 10mm shank. Clips and Studs.

Receptacle Clips
Several alternative clips are offered for each Oddie® series. The receptacle clips are heat treated for maximum performance, manufactured from spring steel and coated with Xylan XL to protect against corrosion.

Clip in Clips
Clip in Clips stay snapped into a pre-punched hole, offering significant 'installed cost' savings. 3 clip-in-clips are offered for each series of fastener, covering the most common thicknesses of sheet.

Plastic Oddie® Stud
The plastic Oddie® Stud is made from black acetal copolymer, it can be used with any 600 series Oddie® Clip and has working temperatures of -40 degrees to +95 degrees C.

Self Centering
Oddie® Spring Loaded Self Centering Assembly incorporates various features like quarter turn to open and slam to lock. Various finishes are available, as well as anti-vibration neoprene washers.

Plastic Quarter Turn
A black polyamide 1/4 turn fastener, supplied pre-assembled. Suitable or framework where no receptacle can be fitted. Lock with a quarter turn and release with a quarter turn.

Bespoke Design
Our experienced team can design and manufacture bespoke quarter turn fasteners to suit your specific requirements and application. To achieve your individual needs, these specials can be based on the Oddie® 1/4 turn concept, or other means.

Steel Push Pull Oddie® Fasteners
Made from zinc plated steel our push pull Oddie® fasteners can be used with any 600 series clip. Available in a range of standard sizes, alternative lengths are available upon request.
