    Founded in the UK by William Brodey, Ncorbar became the first British company to manufacture torque wrenches. Fast forward 80 years are Norbar remain dedicated to engineering the highest quality, premium torque tooling solutions for the most demanding industries like transportation, energy and aerospace.

    We don’t just supply torque tools, we also offer repairs and expert calibration to keep your existing torque tools running flawlessly.

    Calibration Services
    Our calibration services are carried out in accordance with relevant British Standards, we are UKAS accredited for torque measurements from 0.005 N·m to 108,500 N·m. Devices submitted for UKAS accredited calibration will be calibrated ‘As Found’ unless otherwise stated. Being UKAS accredited ensures that all calibrations will be independently assessed against internationally recognised standards, demonstrating impartiality, technical capability and competence.

    Torque Calibration
    In order to maintain quality of operations and traceability, torque calibration is an essential service. For over 60 years Norbar have produced torque calibration equipment and our UKAS accredited laboratory is one of the world’s finest. We now have torque calibration laboratories all over the world, with locations including China, USA, India, Singapore and Australia, all of which are assessed by government agencies to ISO 17025:2017.

    UKAS Accredited Laboratory
    Norbar were the very first manufacturer of torque equipment to have an in-house UKAS accredited calibration laboratory, demonstrating our high standard of workmanship. We won’t rest on our laurels, Norbar ensure that we are constantly evolving to meet our clients’ diverse needs.

    Our Accreditations:

    - UKAS accredited for the voltage calibration of torque display equipment.
    - UKAS accredited laboratory for torques between 0.005 N·m and 108,500 N·m.
    - UKAS accredited for length certification of Norbar calibration beams.
    - UKAS accredited for the calibration of manual torque multiplying gearboxes to 6,800 N·m.
