Leeds City Council's Events Team has one of the largest and diverse events programs in the UK. Collectively the Team now manages over 70 events per year, attracting around 1,250,000 people. 'Party in the Park' attracts over 70,000 pop fans, while 'Classical Fantasia at Kirkstall Abbey' set in the grounds of the 12th century Cistercian abbey, brings an audience of 9000 people.
