My training was excellent and then course was well put over and very clear. Steve Langdon explained everything in great detail. The things i noticed more than anything was the fact that after many many years, i still had a lot to learn. IPC has a wide scope and plenty of detail to enhance the most experienced people. All in all, a very useful and pleasant experience. Will definitely retrain with Impact.

I attended the training course IPC7711/7721B which took three days and have found the instructor, Brian Bowden very helpful and considerate towards my hearing impairment. It being one-to-one was an added bonus. I would most definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to rework, modification and repair or to improve their skills. If I wanted to learn further or upgrade my skills, I would definitely return.

Four of our employees completed the IPC Jstd-001 course. The instructor trainer attended our site and conducted the course on our shop floor. He delivered the course in a thorough and detailed manner. Our 4 employees have been working in electronics for a combination of 70 years between them and all have excellent knowledge and workmanship skills. They all commented that they had learned a number of things regarding acceptability standards. As in a number of production shop-floors some of the working practises we employ here are historical methods, (We have always done it that way) by completing the IPC course we realised that some of them are not really appropriate and have made some small changes in the way we do them. We believe that the course was a very worthwhile learning experience.

Comprehensive coverage of SMT and Through-hole workmanship standards I received a comprehensive course at Impact and the instructor made me welcome and relaxed. He also had a positive manner, exceptional presentation skills and thorough knowledge of the course. Looking forward to returning in 2 years’ time for the recertification course. Would I recommend Impact to anyone considering an IPC course? Yes I would.

Delivery from the instructor was very informative and he made us feel relaxed by constantly reassuring us and giving instructor tips. He delivered the course in a professional manner and displayed good knowledge of all the IPC subjects we covered. When completing the practical aspects of the training he gave us the confidence to try different ways of getting the best results. over the past 6 years we have used Impact for solder training to the IPC J-STD-001 standard. I use the knowledge gained to continually train our operators to a high soldering standard, which is essential for todays environment. J-STD001 CIT RE-CERT. Very well presented and the trainer used his experiences to ease the understanding of some explanations. Steve Langdon was very helpful, considerate but most of all made me feel comfortable and at ease with tackling a course that i considered to be challenging. Although i felt i would struggle with the exams, Steve inspired and encouraged me throughout the whole course. The course and presentation lifted my knowledgeand confidence to enable me to present this to my company.

I undertook the J-std soldering course in blackwood with IPC technical Services. The facilities were great,training was relaxed and very informative with great interpersonal skills from instructor. It was an enjoyable course and left me confident in the standards and also confident in giving better instruction to my candidates as a trainer.All in all would recommend to anyone wanting to improve their quality and work process. :-)

I trained for IPC-610 CIT with Impact and from start to finish found them helpful, freindly and above all professional. I was dreading the training because IPC can be such a 'dry' subject to deliver but Steve (Langdon) the tutor gave me great tips to bring some life to it. I came back with the confidence to deliver this training to 160 plus employees and am going strong. I have had great feedback from the delegates in regards to my delivery. Thanks Impact! Pricing around on IPC training, Impact were the most pleasant to deal with and got my vote. Being easy to deal with we soon went from sending 2 or 3 people there to getting 4 trained here for much the same price(travel and accommodation being the factor). Feedback from the operators (the complainers to be honest) was very good, with Brain adjusting his pace when required and getting everything and more covered in the allotted time. Thanks Impact, we will see you next time.

During the training session this was conducted in a very professional manner with questions raised at the time answered and then highlighting the sections within the IPC manual that was applicable, this gave better understanding of how the manual was used during manufacturing build assembly process. Knowledge of the trainer was good to emphasis the applicable clauses with the IPC manual as stated above. Overall was a very pleasent experience even with a test at the end of the coarse !! Jason

Our company have used Impact for various IPC "Trained Trainer" courses (IPC610, IPC620 & IPC J-STD-001) and would highly recommend. The level of comprehensive training is of a very high calibre with a friendly approach. Impact accommodated my requirements in the past and will definitely use again in the future. We needed to fulfil some quality issues with a new customer and I required some CIT training. Impact were by far the most approachable and friendly company i spoke to. Being based in South Wales, this could have been a problem for us but Impact came to us in Derby with no hassle at all. IPC-A-610 Although there was little that i didn't already know, the course gave me an excellent insight into how i will deliver future courses to my employees.
