Unfortunately for my inverter broke down after 4 years. The original installer like many went under. Lucky for me I found Keir and Glowsolar. I received 2 quotes for the inverter replacement from 2 different manufacturers. The quotes came with the cost and all the details about reliability, efficiency and after service, everything you need to know to have peace of mind. The installation went smoothly and on time as promised. If you have a problem or want an installation I would 110% recommend giving them a ring. Excellent all round service.

Had a problem with our PV inverter, and SMA ( manufacturer of inverter) gave us a link to a site listing local installers. We contacted three of them for an estimate to fit new Sunny Boy inverter and a solar immersion heater. Keir of Glowsolar arrived promptly and submitted his estimate within 24 hours. We waited over two weeks for the other two companies to quote, and had to chase them. No contest really. Glowsolar's quote was competitive, Keir was eager to do the job - in fact he fitted us in a week earlier than first arranged. Both Keir and his electrician were clean, tidy workers. I would recommend them.

Discovered we had problems with our Solar Inverter box. Found Glowsolar on the internet. As it is local to us I rang the number and spoke to Keir who was very helpful. He advised me what to do to try and sort out the problem but had to come to visit. He discovered that there had been an electrical fire as the box was sooted and one of the cables into the Inverter had just been fitted using electrical tape and stuck up. I feel very lucky that the fire did not set the house alight. We had to have a new Inverter which Keir fitted the following day. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained stuff that we were not aware of. We inherited this problem and it has taken 2 years to surface, the people we bought the house off were into doing "deals" so it just goes to show employing "cowboys" to do a job does not pay in the long run. Thankyou Keir for sorting this out, splendid job.

Keir (Glowsolar) was fantastically supportive throughout the whole process of replacing our solar inverter box. Despite it taking weeks for the suppliers to send a repalcement box, Keir kept in regular contact with both me and the supplier to ensure that everything was moving ahead. When it came time to replace the box, Keir was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and efficent. The repair was carried out without issue and I've had no problems since - can't recommend him enough!
