Services
As specialists in laser and water jet cutting Cirrus Laser regularly processes a
wide range of materials producing precision components for clients requiring
high quality parts not only at a competitive price but within their agreed
timescales.
Precision
Laser Profile Cutting
Utilising only the very latest solid state laser technology Cirrus Laser is able
to cater to the needs of customers in all areas of Sussex including Mid Sussex,
East Sussex and West Sussex.
Two machines in particular include our 6kW disk on Laser #12 and our 4kW on
Laser#13.
In effect this means we are able to work on materials ranging from steel and
stainless steel, to brass, copper and various specifications of plastic.

To enable us to provide a full turnkey solution for our customers we also offer
a range of second operation and finishing services including Plating, Painting,
Manual Welding, Manual Engraving and Polishing.
Water Jet
Cutting
To further complement our laser cutting service we provide a full water jet
cutting service which we use for materials that are either too thick or where
heat processes are not allowed.
This combined with the ability to control the taper on the edge of components
also means this technology has the capacity to obtain levels of precision
normally associated only with conventional machine tools.
Cirrus Laser offers customers in Sussex, Hampshire, Surrey and beyond a highly
efficient water jet cutting service to meet all of their complex and precision
component needs.
CNC Press
Brake Folding
Cirrus Laser has a 7 axis CNC controlled press brake with a 3 metre wide beam
and 130 tonne down stroke capacity. This allows for exceptional angular control
when folding and can be used on materials ranging from 1mm to 8mm thick.
Quality
At Cirrus Laser all manufacturing and finishing processes adhere to the latest
quality standards and for customer requiring first article inspection reports we
are able to utilise our Baty Venture Plus co-ordinate measuring machine with CCD
high resolution camera.
As well as checking and measuring to extremely high tolerances we can also use
this inspection equipment for reverse engineering applications so for customer
who have any existing parts or components that need to be replicated we can
deliver.
