Most projectors used currently are digital. A digital video projector is a device that projects an image onto a screen for viewing. It does this by receiving a video signal which is then processed; it then projects that image, using a very bright light. Most modern projectors can correct curves, blurring and other inconsistencies using manual settings. Digital video projectors are widely used for presentations and conferences, classroom training, live events and even home entertainment. They can be used in conjunction with other interactive applications such as a whiteboard to teach students. These projectors can be built into cabinets with a rear projection system and used in a home entertainment system receiving all the usual channels and media; these are sometimes referred to as rear projection televisions. Common display resolutions for projectors are 1920x1080 pixels, 1280x720 pixels, 1024x768 pixels and 800x600 pixels. The price of these systems is very much determined by the resolution and brightness.
