Machine
embroidery is another way of describing two different actions. Firstly the use
of a sewing machine which will enable the creation of a pattern or design on a
piece of cloth or paper or other similar item. Secondly the use of a specially
designed embroidery sewing machine to create automatically a design following a
pre-made pattern, that has been put in to the machine. Machine embroidery today
is mostly done with computerised machines requiring the appropriate software.
Machine embroidery is used to decorate and embellish garments for the clothes
industry.
